Bill Synopsis: This bill would require the State Department of Public Health, commencing July 1, 2026, and each July 1 thereafter, as part of its research activities, to report various data to the Legislature, including the number of research projects utilizing residual screening samples from the program and the number of inheritable conditions identified by the original screening tests the previous calendar year.
