Bill Synopsis: This bill would require a Superintendent of Public Instruction to establish a pilot program to test for and remediate lead contamination in drinking water at participating local educational agency facilities with plumbing that was installed before January 1, 2010, and to identify and remediate any potable water system outlet emitting water containing lead levels in excess of 5 parts per billion.
