Bill Synopsis: This bill would require the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) to adopt regulations for the enforcement of prohibitions on the use of PFAS, and the use of specified chemicals in cookware and cosmetic products, while also requiring manufacturers to register with DTSC to pay a registration fee and provide test results that demonstrate compliance with all applicable prohibitions on the use of PFAS.
