alifornia Rally for Justice – Sacramento, August 6, 8:30-noon
On August 6, the California legislature returns to work after a summer recess. We are rallying on the west steps of the State Capitol to let them know about this, and that WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY! Please join us!! California’s passage of SB277 in 2015, taking away Personal Belief and Religious exemptions, was part of a nationwide wave of such attempts. As you know, the push to force vaccines on everyone is continuing, and California is now trying to restrict medical exemptions. There’s a saying that “California is where the future happens first.” If we can beat back their attempts to further restrict exemptions, and ultimately restore the PBE and religious exemptions, it will really prove that the tide has turned in this fight. Come fight with us!!

AB1992 which takes away the Personal Belief exemption for CalWORKs recipients will also be heard in Senate Appropriations on August 6th, so make sure you voice your opposition in committee.
