The day-long forum will feature innovative presentations from researchers across all disciplines related to organic farming and food systems. The intent of the forum is to share the most current information with farmers, ranchers, extensionists, educators, agricultural professionals, and others interested in organic agriculture.
Students, farmers, and researchers who would like to apply for a scholarship of up to $350 to attend the forum should email their request to grants@ofrf.org no later than December 15, 2018 . All applications must include the following: name, position, statement of interest and need of scholarship, amount requested and budget. Scholarships will be awarded based on the need and merit of the applicant. The scholarship funds may be applied toward forum registration, travel, and one night of lodging. To receive reimbursement, scholarship recipients will be required to submit receipts and a brief blog about their experience.
These scholarships have been made available through the generous support of Ceres Trust.
