Winners are recognized both in their district and at an annual awards ceremony in Washington, DC, and the winning works are displayed for one year in the United States Capitol. This year over 150 high school students from 12 schools and one after-school programs submitted art pieces. The reception is an opportunity to celebrate their creativity and passion.[:]
